Mexico is a land of extraordinary diversity and vast magnificent landscapes. To explore Mexico is to travel through semi-arid plateaus, past snow capped volcanoes, along tropical rivers, amidst ancient ruins and timeless rural villages. Rising from the Gulf of Mexico, the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range, which passes through the center of the State of Veracruz, offers endless opportunities for adventure. For paddling enthusiasts, the Antigua River Valley offers a variety of steep, technical rivers which range in difficulty from class II to IV. With more than 100 km of continuous whitewater, Veracruz has something for every paddler! For adventure enthusiasts, explore the flora, fauna and culture of the region while trekking, mountain biking and paddling. For all of us, the sleepy village of Jalcomulco is the center of it all. In spite of its growing reputation as Mexico's premiere location for outdoor adventure, Jalcomulco has retained its small rural village atmosphere and warm, open curiosity in the people who come to visit their village from around the globe. Whether your interests lie in discovering the culture and ancient history of the Mexican people or to challenge technical class IV whitewater... Mexico offers boundless opportunities to capture your imagination and your heart!
