Nestled deep in the Andes of southern Chile, in a remote sector of Patagonia, lies the pristine waters of the Futaleufu River and its deep glacial valley. The Futaleufu River is unique to the world with its brilliant turquoise and emerald colored water, majestic alpine beauty, dramatic cliff faces, adrenaline-charged rapids and soaring condors. Known around the world as being the “greatest whitewater on Earth”, the Futaleufu is the “Crown Jewel” of South American Rivers. There is class III-IV whitewater on the Bridge to Bridge section for outrageous play. Then, the infamous class V whitewater of the Inferno Canyon for those looking for a world class challenge. Basing ourselves in the remote village of Futaleufu, we explore both the river and the spectacular landscape surrounding the Futaleufu Valley by combining whitewater rafting, trekking, mountain biking, canyoning and kayaking into the ultimate week of adventure.
